Welcome to 5H!
We have a very busy and exciting term ahead in 5H. Our class teacher is Miss Huddart and Mr Deller and Mr Fletcher are our Leaning Support Assistants. We are also taught Maths and English by Mrs Langmore and Mrs Price. We have 29 children in our class who all work hard and have made an excellent start to the term.
Our topics this term include: Wild Water, Black History, The World Through Different Eyes and Noel which will conclude us before our Christmas break. In RE we will be learning about prayer, Judaism and Christmas.
We already have trips planned to visit Pizza Express (Tuesday 18th September), Wagamamas (Tuesday 25th September), the Postal Museum (Tuesday 9th October) and the Royal Albert Hall for Primary Proms (Wednesday 10th October).
In the Autumn term, the children will be swimming every Wednesday so it's important they remember their kit every week and also have their PE kits in school for PE on Thursday. This year we are very fortunate to have Mrs Price teaching us recorder every Friday. It is important we bring our recorder and folders with us each week.
Our first class assembly is on Monday 19th November and will based on the topic ‘The World Through Different Eyes’.
In Year 5 we love seeing our work displayed in the classroom to help our learning. We make the most of our time in school and have an exciting and successful year to look forward to!
