Welcome to 6C’s class page!
We are a lovely class of 25 children with Miss Cunningham as our teacher and our classroom is in St Margaret Mary Annexe which is a fantastic building to both help us learn and to prepare us for secondary school. In our classroom we have a variety of resources, display boards filled with our beautiful work and a class library stocked full of a variety of genres of books. We know that this year is very important as we prepare for the next stages in our school life and our classroom helps us to prepare for our SATS and for secondary school by extending and securing our knowledge.
We are currently learning about World War 1, and are thoroughly enjoying reading and exploring Michael Morpurgo’s, “Private Peaceful”, a novel set in the war, in our English and Reading lessons. We have created some fantastic pieces of writing based on this. We have been learning all about classifying living things in Science and our RE Topic is ‘Beginning with the Church’.
Elements of our learning will be put up on our class page all year so make sure to check our class page regularly to see what we have been up-to and up-coming events for year 6C.
