We took inspiration from French artist George Seurat who created a painting technique called 'Pointillism'. We used this technique to replicate Eurpoean flags of our choice!
We also explored a variety of drawing techniques using hard, medium and soft pencils. We drew human and physical features of Europe.
We revisited colour mixing this half term. This time we created tertiary colours, as well as secondary. We then used colour mixing to paint a European flag.
We created block prints of European tri colours using Styrofoam printboard.
We finally combined our printmaking, drawing and painting techniques to create a final outcome based on a European country of our choice.
