Our Autumn 1 Topic, 'The Crown', focused on History and Art. Take a look at our knowledge organiser which highlights our key learning and some of our wonderful History sessions below!
We learnt about Queen Elizabeth ii as a significant Historical person. We created bunting to help us prepare for her special platinum jubilee next year, when we will celebrate how she has been our Queen for 70 years.
We loved learning all about Queen Elizabeth ii and we made our own non-fiction books full of facts about her. Take a look at one of them below:
We were introduced to timelines and created a giant timeline of Queen Elizabeth ii's life as a class.
We then created individual timelines and focused on using Historical vocabulary.
