The children have an exciting term ahead looking at gospel music! They will focus on the rhythm and notation and eventually by the end of the term they will also be learning to play a recorder!
Today we had the special privilege of participating in an African Drumming workshop as part of Black History Month. We learnt about the origin of the drums and our teacher, learnt basic rhythms and performed a short piece. Afterwards, we had the opportunity to ask lots of questions and develop our knowledge further.
