Autumn Term 1 - In the Beginning
This term, we have reminded ourselves of our school mission statement and 3,5,7 ethos and thought about how we can use these to follow in the footsteps of Jesus.
We will be looking at different Bible stories and considering what we can learn about God from the. At the beginning of term, we attended our first Mass and we are looking forward to attending more (and possibly taking part in our holy communion) throughout the rest of the year.
After learning about the importance of prayer and why Christians do it, we created our own class prayer. We came up with what we all thought was important to speak to and ask God about. Then, we practised it together!
We have been learning the story of Moses and the Burning Bush.
Drawing fruits and vegetables for our harvest festival hats that we used in our class assembly!

We practised the Glory Be Prayer and came up with actions to help us remember.
We explored the Holy Trinity and how it appeared in our lives. We drew pictures of symbols that represented the Trinity to us and used them to create a giant one for our display!
