Welcome back Year One!

 

Our new topic is From Advent to Christmas.

 

We will recognise, describe and give reasons for some of the symbols, actions and words associated with Advent.

 

We used drama to help us retell Exodus 3

We created a burning bush in groups for our working wall

Our first RE topic is Beginning With God.

 

We will learn about

Revelation:

  • Stories of significant people in the Old Testament
  • Scriptural imagery which speaks of God
  • The Sign of the Cross

 

Celebration:

  • Prayers from Scripture and the Tradition
