On Monday 26th September, selected year 5 and 6 boys took part in a football tournament at Market Road. They all demonstrated excellent leadership qualities and fantastic teamwork- especially Ali who was continously cheering his team on! Amazingly, the boys played four football matches against various other Islington schools and they didn't loose a single match! Evan scored an excellent goal from almost half way up the football pitch and Benhur even scored a hat-trick! We are very excited to announce that we have made it to the finals on Friday at Whittington Park! Of course, we will let you know how we get on.

On Friday 30th September, selected year 5/6 boys played at the Islington finals at Whittington Park! Benhur scored an incredible goal from outside the box and James proved himself to be fantastic defender! We were very lucky to have Armand join us this time and he did not disappoint- he also scored an excellent goal. Overall, we lost 2 games and 1 won game. Unfortunately, this was not enough for us to go through to the next round but we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and are already looking toward to the next football tournament!
