Safeguarding

At Sacred Heart we provide a safe environment in which children can learn. Every member of staff has a responsibility to identify children who may be in need of extra help or who are suffering, or are likely to suffer, significant harm. All staff have a responsibility to take appropriate action and follow the School's safeguarding procedures, this may involve working with other services such as Children's Social Care as required. The Designated Safeguarding Lead is Mr Rodrigo. The Deputy Safeguarding Leads are Mr Lane, Mrs Kelly, Miss Le Fleming, and Mr Fletcher. If you have any queries regarding the schools safeguarding procedures please speak to one of the Designated Safeguarding Leads or consult the Safeguarding and Child Protection Policy below.

Keeping Children Safe

NSPPC- Speak Out. Stay Safe

We are proud at Sacred Heart to educate our children in how they can stay safe. We participate in the NSPCC Speak Out. Stay Safe campaign and deliver the assemblies in school for Key Stage One and Key Stage Two children. The children learn the importance of speaking to trusted adults if they have worries or are feeling unsafe. This important message is also part of Five Keys 'Being Safe and Responsible.'

Talk PANTS with Pantosaurus and his PANTS song #TalkPANTS

Meet Pantosaurus - our pant-wearing Dino! He wants every child to stay safe and strong, just like him, and he's on a mission to share an important message.
