Our Pledge:

1. Support Prayer and Liturgy by helping with masses, services and prayer times across the school

3. To develop and manage fundraising activities, choosing which charities to raise money for

Commissioning of the Chaplaincy Team

Father Spencer led a special assembly and commissioned our new Chaplaincy Team. He blessed them and prepared them for the service they would carry out this year. He also gave them their badges. 

2024-25

The Chaplaincy Team attend the Jubilee Year: Pilgrims of Hope celebration at Westminster Cathedral

In June, our Year 5 and 6 members of the Chaplaincy Team visited Westminster Cathedral to take part in the Jubilee celebrations. 

                                               

  

The Chaplaincy Team: formation and leading Prayer and Liturgy sessions 

In the summer term, the Chaplaincy Team were working on formation of prayer and liturgy sessions. One of our aims for the academic year, 2025-26 is to have more pupils be responsible for leading prayer across the school. We thought about how we would record the work in our Prayer and Liturgy book and what ingredients were needed for an effective prayer session. 

                                   

 

Chaplaincy Team interviews for the new academic year will take place before October half term. The children will be commissioned by Father Francis in our special assembly celebrating All Saints in November.
