Collective Worship

Prayer is central to life in our school. The day begins and ends with a prayer in each class. Children participate in various forms of prayer throughout their school life (spontaneous prayer, traditional prayer, modern prayer, biblical and liturgical, silent prayer, hymns and praise). Prayer can happen anywhere and should be a true relationship between God and the child.

Learning traditional prayers begins in the EYFS where each child has a turn taking home 'Prayer Bear' to help learn the class prayers. As the children move through the school they learn new prayers each year, these prayers can be found in the class prayer books below.
