About our Nursery

Our nursery welcomes children from the term after they turn three years old until they begin Reception. We provide rich, meaningful learning experiences through purposeful play, ensuring every child has opportunities to explore, discover and grow across two classrooms and a large outdoor area.

We use children’s interests as a starting point for planning exciting, stimulating activities that spark curiosity, creativity and critical thinking. Children are encouraged to explore independently and collaboratively, developing essential skills such as communication, negotiation, investigation and problem‑solving.

Our highly skilled, active practitioners play a central role in supporting children’s learning. They observe play closely, model new language and ideas, and sensitively extend children’s thinking to deepen understanding and nurture development. Through intentional interactions, adults help every child to make progress while feeling confident, supported and valued.

Our aim is to enable children to become confident, independent learners who are well‑prepared for their educational journey. We provide a safe, engaging environment where every child is recognised as unique and encouraged to thrive. Our broad and balanced early years curriculum nurtures all areas of development—social, emotional, physical and cognitive—ensuring a strong foundation for lifelong learning.

We warmly welcome visits to our nursery. If you would like to find out more or arrange a tour, please contact the school office or take a look at our Nursery Admissions page.
