Nursery is open to children aged three and four.  Children are eligible to start the term after their 3^rd birthday.  Applications for Nursery places are available from the school office.  You can apply at any point throughout the year, as we accept children at the start of all 3 terms, depending on places available. 

If your child is born between:	They are eligible for a 15-hour funded place from:
1st April and 31 August	1st September following their 3rd Birthday
1st September and 31st December	1st January following their 3rd Birthday
1st January and 31st March	1st April following their 3rd Birthday

What we offer:

Nursery is led by a qualified teacher, supported by highly qualified, dedicated and caring support staff with a wide range of experience.

We provide a free hot lunch for all children, but those who are eligible for free school meals also receive vouchers during the school holidays.  Information about eligibility and how to apply is available at Free school meals and uniform grant | Islington Council

The school day runs from 8.45am – 3.25pm and term-time only.  Wrap-around care is available to children in our Nursery and runs from 7.45am – 6pm at an additional cost. More information about our wrap-around care can be found here. 

Places available

We have 60 places available in our Nursery.  Places will be offered in accordance with the Nursery admissions policy.  There are three options:

Option A: 30 hours of free nursery education for those parents that meet the criteria. Eligibility can be checked at Government Best Start in Life website

Option B: 15 hours of free nursery education Monday – Wednesday all day

Option C: 15 hours of free nursery education and an additional 2 days charged at £40

Please note that a place in our Nursery Class does not guarantee a place in our Reception Class, but preference is given to those who are already enroled in our Nursery. Please refer to the Reception Admissions policy for more information.
