Advent to Christmas

In our RE lessons we've looked at how Christians around the world prepare for Christmas. We also enjoyed preparing for Christmas ourselves!

Take a look at this video showing how we prepared for Christmas with our Nativity play, our Christmas jumper day and Christmas art activities through Topic. We loved Advent in St. Francis class.

We created our own nativity sets just like Christians do in Italy to remind them of the birth of Jesus, the son of God.

We also discovered how Christians in China create paper decorations to decorate their trees, which they call their trees of light. We talked about how this reminds people of Jesus, the light of the world.
