Romeo and Juliet
Our new text this term is the play, Romeo and Juliet. Romeo and Juliet is a play written by Shakespeare. It is a tragic love story where the two main characters, Romeo and Juliet, are supposed to be enemies but fall in love. Due to their families' ongoing conflict, they cannot be together. Romeo and Juliet is a Shakespearean tragedy.
Maths
In Summer 1 we will be revisiting addition and subtraction along with multiplication and division in order to recap and revise any learning we may have forgotten during lockdown.
Science
States of Matter
This term we will be looking at solids, liquids and gases.
In this topic, we will:

Identify and classify materials together, according to whether they are solids, liquids or gases.

Topic
Roman Rule
We will be learning about the Roman Empire and its impact on Britain. We will study the chronology and legacy of Roman culture (art, architecture or literature) on later periods in British history, including the present day.​ We will also gain an understanding of the history behind London’s city (Roman) walls.
