The Lion King
This year, our Year 4 children are taking part in Disney Musicals in Schools programme on Monday and Friday afternoons. We will be focussing on the show, ‘The Lion King’.
Miss Spillman, our Topic Leader,applied for this programme in May – it is rare that schools are accepted as it is so competitive, so we are incredibly lucky!
As you know, we have recently achieved the ArtsMark Gold award – programmes like Disney Musicals in Schools enrich our curriculum further and ensure our children have memorable opportunities. Performances in school and the Lyceum Theatre will take place in March. We will keep you updated on their progress through the newsletter and other platforms such as the school app and Twitter.
